The Zodiac Made Me Do It

I have a process. You probably know this by now.

I touch the beads. I hold them. I let them tell me what they want to be before I ever commit to a design. It's not precious — it's just how I work. The bead leads. I follow.

And then a set of zodiac charms showed up and completely blew that up.

Here's what happened: I got my hands on two charm types — figural charms representing each sign (the Water Bearer, the Scales, the Twins) and a series of barrel charms engraved with the actual zodiac symbols. Two charms per sign. A full collection forming in my head before a single bead hit my tray.

So I did something I almost never do. I designed first. Then I ordered.

The framework built itself: power colors for each sign, their traditional gemstones, and stones tied to each element. Three design pillars. Twelve bracelets. Zero beads in hand yet.

I'm tackling it one element at a time — and the air signs are first. Aquarius. Libra. Gemini. They get the inaugural run while I figure out if ordering blind is genius or chaos.

I won't pretend I'm not a little nervous. But I also won't pretend I'm not excited — because this collection has a shape already, and that almost never happens this early.

Air signs, you're up first. The rest of you? I'm coming.
